A second device stands ready at once
Inside the Dual Rack, two completely independent appliances work side by side, each with its own CPU, memory and power supply. If one fails, the second is there immediately. Via the high-availability feature of the software, both can run as a failover pair, or one simply serves as a spare that already sits in the rack.
Two separate networks in one rack slot
Instead of redundancy, the two devices can also serve two completely separate networks, such as two sites, two customers or two security zones. Eight GbE ports and two independent systems share just a single rack unit.
AIMdefense, already preinstalled
The AIMSTRONG-Dual Rack runs AIMdefense, a security software developed in Germany and based on open source.

NIS2 brings new obligations from 2026 for many companies and their service providers. The AIMSTRONG-Dual Rack is a controllable basis for firewall and segmentation, with a second device for more availability in minimal space. The legal assessment is handled together with our legal partner, so that technology becomes real security.
